Indian athletes showered medals
On the 10th day of the Commonwealth Games, Indian players performed brilliantly, winning more than 10 medals. During this, boxers and athletes gave the nation an opportunity to celebrate. In the men’s triple jump event in athletics, Adoles Paul and Abdullah Abubakar won the top two positions to claim gold and silver medals respectively. On the other hand, Annu Rani won bronze medals in women’s javelin throw and Sandeep Kumar in men’s 10,000 meters walk. Earlier in boxing, Amit Panghal and Neetu hit golden punches.
Para Table Tennis: Bhavina Champion, Sonal gets bronze
Tokyo Paralympic Games silver medalist Bhavina Patel performed brilliantly in Birmingham to clinch the gold medal in the women’s C3-5 category. This is India’s first gold medal in the Para Table Tennis category of the Commonwealth Games. Sonal Patel of India won the bronze medal in this event.
