Job Action Day – November 7, 2022, history, significance
The first Monday in November is Job Action Day! Job Action Day, November 7, 2022, is a day to recognize and empower those who dream of having a job they love. And we don’t mean just any job—we mean the kind of job where, as the old saying goes, you never work a day in your life.
Created in 2008 by QuintCareers, Job Action Day was intended to empower and inspire hard workers who dreamed of achieving more. It’s a day to connect workers and job-seekers alike with career advice from experts in the career field. If you still dream of being excited to go to work every day, Job Action Day was created in your honor.
HISTORY OF JOB ACTION DAY
Job Action Day was started as an annual event in 2008 by QuintCareers and continues under the sponsorship of LiveCareer, the web’s leading site for jobseekers and career changers. The event brings together career experts and bloggers to provide the most relevant advice to jobseekers and workers.
Job Action Day is a day of empowerment, regardless of your current employment situation. It’s an opportunity to examine your career and find out if you’re really doing what you love. Do you feel fulfilled? Are you passionate about what you’re doing? Are you satisfied at the end of the working day? Job Action Day encourages us to ask ourselves these questions.
It’s a time to make an action plan and look at the bigger picture. Ask yourself how important is it for you to be happy with your career? As a society, we need to make a living in order to maintain function, but no amount of money will ever take the place of doing something we truly love. As the saying goes, there’s always hope when looking for the job that’ll make everything worthwhile. Our happiness is something we should never take for granted.
