Emma Willis has heartwarming reunion on The Big Breakfast

Big Brother presenter Emma Willis was treated to a heartwarming surprise while on The Big Breakfast yesterday (Saturday 28).

Willis, who has been presenting the show Emma Willis: Delivering Babies since 2018, was reunited with the first child she ever helped deliver.

While on the morning show to promote the third series of her show, she was shown a picture of the baby by hosts AJ Odudu and Mo Gilligan.

After a few adorable moments of the entire The Big Breakfast house cooing over the picture, Odudu and Gilligan announced the surprise.

“And today we’ve got a surprise for you,” Mo said, as baby Aria walked onto the set towards a speechless Emma.

The Voice UK presenter even got to recreate the moment in the picture where she was previously holding with Aria, wearing scrubs and all.

“So cute!” AJ exclaimed.

After a three-year-long gap because of the pandemic, Willis’ beloved series is set to come back on air later this year, with Willis now a qualified Maternity Care Assistant.

Speaking previously to Red magazine, she revealed that she spent a lot of time behind the scenes to earn her qualification and get the most from the experience, adding that she would be happy to take up a position full time should she ever leave TV work.

“I’ve put in the hours, I’ve put in the shifts, I’ve done all the practical work and what we didn’t get to finish last series was the written work. It had to be all or nothing. It had to be fully immersive so full shifts, full hours because I wanted to do it justice because it was such a massive part of my life that it had to be real.”

Delivering Babies series 3 will return on W later this year.
