National Love People Day – September 30, 2022, history significance why we celebrate
People write songs about it or read poems inspired by it but do we really know what love is? That’s something to consider on National Love People Day, held annually on September 30. Many religions and non-religious spiritual practices center on the idea of giving love wholeheartedly without expecting anything in return. This day is dedicated to inspiring and supporting others with the power of unconditional love.
History of National Love People Day
National Love People Day was created by a church in Chicago, Illinois in 2017. The impetus behind the day was related to the group’s desire to reach out to other people to show them how much they are loved, valuing relationships, family, and love. With random acts of kindness, giving away cars to single moms and even performing home makeovers, the idea is sometimes taken to the extreme.
But National Love People Day doesn’t have to be extreme. It can also be enjoyed by participating in the little things in life that show love to everyone around. And the good news is that it doesn’t take a lot of time–it can often be done in just a few minutes, or even a few seconds!
Now it’s time to celebrate National Love People Day!
