India won its second medal in the lawn ball event of the Commonwealth Games, with the men’s four team losing to Ireland in the final to be content with a silver medal. Northern Ireland won the gold medal with a score of 18–5. The Indian team consisted of Sunil Bahadur (Lead), Navneet Singh (Second), Chandan Kumar Singh (Third) and Dinesh Kumar (Skip). Northern Ireland won the last gold medal in lawn balls at the 1998 Commonwealth Games.
